A New Leaf’s 35th Annual Camaraderie Gala Exceeds Expectations with $850,000 Raised
Community Unites to Transform Lives with Unprecedented Support
Phoenix, Ariz. (March 28, 2024) – A New Leaf proudly reflects on the monumental success of their 35th Annual Camaraderie Gala, "A Night in Positano," held on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge. The enchanting evening not only surpassed expectations but also set a new precedent with record-breaking attendance of more than 500 supporters in attendance and over $850,000 raised in support of A New Leaf's mission to provide critical services to families facing domestic violence, rising concerns of homelessness, and some of the most pressing challenges in our local community.
The Gala, graciously hosted by the esteemed Mark and Carrie Schnepf of Schnepf Farms celebrated the spirit of community and generosity. Mark and Carrie, with their lifelong commitment to bettering the Phoenix area, were the perfect honorary hosts for an evening that shone a light on the transformative impact of A New Leaf's programs. The Schnepfs' dedication to philanthropy and community service, combined with their leadership in creating a world-renowned “agritainment” destination, perfectly encapsulated the evening's theme of unity and support.
The event kicked off with a cocktail hour where guests engaged in a silent auction, wine pull, and raffles, capturing the excitement and anticipation of the night ahead. The atmosphere was electric, with attendees eager to contribute to A New Leaf's cause while vying for the chance to win extraordinary prizes.
As the evening progressed, guests were treated to a sumptuous dinner, during which they were moved by powerful stories of transformation from individuals and families whose lives have been forever changed by A New Leaf's support. The evening was emceed by Kristen Koegh, host at The Social Television Network. The live auction further invigorated the crowd, with spirited bidding that significantly contributed to the evening's fundraising success.
Leadership unveiled some amazing projects throughout the night; like the expansion of La Mesita Phase 4, and their East Valley Men's center as well as the recent acquisition of Homeward Bound.
The gala concluded on a high note with music, drinks, and an afterparty, where the community's collective impact was celebrated in style. The night was not only a testament to the generous spirit of the Phoenix community but also a catalyst for future initiatives aimed at supporting those in need.
This year's gala set a remarkable milestone, with all proceeds going directly towards A New Leaf's vital services for families experiencing homelessness. The unprecedented success of the event will significantly enhance the organization's capacity to offer life-changing assistance to more than 23,000 individuals this year alone.
In the aftermath of "A Night in Positano," A New Leaf extends its deepest gratitude to all attendees, donors, and sponsors for their overwhelming support and generosity. The record-breaking achievement of this year's Camaraderie Gala serves as a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when a community comes together for a common cause.
